Requirements

  • Degree Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Relevant certifications in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are preferred.

  • Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.


Experience and Skills:


  • Minimum of 5-10 years' experience in human resources management.

  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices and labor laws specific to Guyana.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Proficient in using HR management software and tools.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training and development, performance management, and employee relations.

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs to support the company's goals and objectives.

  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract, hire, and retain top talent.

  • Develop and implement performance management systems to evaluate and improve employee performance.

  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues and policies.

  • Conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.

  • Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.

  • Develop and manage HR budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

  • Collaborate with other departments to promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

  • Stay updated with the latest HR trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve HR operations.
